Q. Can you send a phlebotomist to my home?

A: Yes. We are mobile, private and convenient. We can meet you at your job or place of business.
FAQs-1Q: What are the days and hours of operations?

A: Technician hours: 06:00AM – 4:00PM {CST} Monday through Thursday and 6am-2pm on Friday.  MBHM is available around the clock, weekends and holidays at a premium rate in home mobile draws. Hours vary to meet provider office staffing needs.

Q: As a physician, can I call My Blooming Health directly for the patient to place a house lab request?

A: Yes, My Blooming Health will bill the patient directly for the phlebotomy mobile call service fee if they are not home bound.  Payment is expected prior to service. Homebound patients will have all services billed to their insurance provider.

Q: What is the charge for this service if the patient is billed directly?

A: Click here for a list of self pay testing you do not need insurance for.  We can guarantee the lowest mobile phlebotomy lab costs in the area.

A:  If not meeting homebound criteria, the fee for a phlebotomy mobile call {patient bill} starts at $40.00 and may increase depending on your location.   You may receive a separate bill from the licensed lab processing your specimen. Our fee could be waived depending on your insurance carrier.  Call us to find out!

We offer special discounts through various physician offices or medical programs. Ask us if you qualify.

A: Illinois : Same insurances as Missouri are accepted, except for IPA.

Q: What if I have no health insurance to cover the specimen processing?

A: Review here for a list of lab fees.  These prices are subject to change at anytime and payment is due at the time of service. Service fee and/or travel fee may be an additional cost. A Physician’s order is still required.

Q: Once My Blooming Health receives my prescription for lab testing, how soon will I be scheduled?

A: All orders are completed on a first call first serve basis and no later than 48 hours from your initial call.  We strive for same day service.

Q: Does My Blooming Health Mobile perform the lab testing on client specimens?

A: No, My Blooming Health Mobile only performs the actual blood draw or specimen collection. Specimens are tested by a licensed and approved laboratory.  You may incur a separate fee from the licensed lab company pending your insurance coverage.  MBHM does not have any hidden fees.

Q: Does My Blooming Health Mobile provide service to nursing facilities?

A: Yes. We can provide phlebotomy services to nursing facilities, residential sites, schools and more.  An associate fee may incur.

Q: In which areas does My Blooming Health Mobile perform these services?

A: We presently service the surrounding area of St. Louis County and City as well as the St. Charles area.  Kansas City, Missouri.  Illinois zip codes bordering St Louis.  We may travel further depending on staff availability.

Q: What other services are offered with My Blooming Health Mobile? 

A: We will provide lab draws to the homebound client or disabled client in their home or facility. We will provide lab draws to anyone with a physician’s order including those who desire the privacy of having their lab work drawn in their own home and out of the sight of others. We will also meet you at your place of business when appropriate, for your convenience.  You may be able to receive this service at no charge depending on your health insurance carrier.  Call us to learn more.

A: At no additional cost for travel, we will travel a 25 mile radius from zip code 63033.  Beyond 25 miles, there is a nominal travel fee.  (Fee may be higher depending on your location)

A: We offer DNA Paternity testing as well as Individual and Employee drug screenings.

Q: Are you available for various languages?

A: Yes.  We have access to over 200 languages for interpretations at no cost to our customers.  Please let us know at the time of the appointment the speaking language required when it’s not standard English.

Q: Will you pick up specimens only even if I have no blood draw order?

A: Yes.  There is always a nominal fee for specimen pick up only.

Q: What insurances are accepted?

A: See HERE for a list of accepted insurances.  However, call us if your insurance is not listed. We may still be able to accommodate your lab draw need.  Most Market Plan (Obama Care) insurances accepted.
